Signals from the Peripheries

SF:// is a paper filed from one quiet place in the peripheries, but no single viewpoint can fill the peripheries alone. We invite short essays (1,000–3,000 characters / 5–15 manuscript pages) on AI as seen from rural areas, non-metropolitan regions, and primary-industry sites. Some of the signals we receive will be quoted in upcoming issues, and we reply to every submission within seven days.

Style (how should the seed be unfolded?)

The same seed reads differently across styles. Try one. If you do not like the result, try another.

Allow one fictional scene + quoted lineOff (default): only the facts in your seed are expanded. On: one generic scene with a quoted line is invented, using only generalized roles (e.g., "a township clerk"). Real names, real organizations, and real statistics are never invented either way.
